Terms of Service

1. What RouteBoss does

RouteBoss is software for pool service companies. It builds weekly routes, gives techs a phone app to mark each pool done or missed with a photo, emails homeowners about their visits, and shows the owner the whole day on one screen. The pool company does the pool work, not RouteBoss. We are not responsible for the quality of pool service or for disagreements between a pool company and its customers.

2. Your account and sign-in

• Sign-in is by a link sent to your email. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can open it can sign in.
• The owner controls the account: who can use it, which tech phones are paired, and removing people who leave. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us correct information about your company and keep it up to date.
• Tell us right away at support@routeboss.app if you think someone got into your account.

3. Free trial, price and cancelling

• New companies get 30 days free. No credit card is needed to start.
• After the trial, RouteBoss costs $150 a month per company, if you choose to keep it. We will ask for a card before your first charge. Stripe holds your card. We never see or store the full number.
• You can cancel anytime. You will not be charged for the next month. We do not give refunds for part of a month.
• When you cancel, access stops for you and your techs. We keep your data for at least 90 days in case you come back, and delete it when you ask. Ask us before you cancel if you want a copy of your data.
• If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

4. Emails to your customers

RouteBoss sends email only. It never sends text messages. Emails to your customers go out in your company's name.

• You are responsible for having permission to email your customers, and for following email laws such as CAN-SPAM.
• Some emails send on their own, like the night-before reminder and the "done" email with a photo. Others, like a missed-visit notice, wait for you to tap send.
• If a customer asks to stop getting emails, you must stop sending to them. Remove their email from their customer record, or ask us to help.
• Do not use RouteBoss to send ads or bulk email to people who are not your customers.

5. AI drafts

RouteBoss can draft replies to your customers and translate notes between English and Spanish using AI. A draft is only a suggestion. Nothing is sent until you read it and tap send, and you can edit it first. You are responsible for what you send. AI can make mistakes, so check drafts and translations before you rely on them.

6. Your data

• Your customer list, routes, photos and visit records belong to you.
• You give us permission to store and use that data only to run the Service for you, keep it secure, and fix problems. Our Privacy Policy explains how.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not give it to other pool companies.
• Completed visit records are never changed or erased while your account is open, so you always have proof of service.

7. Rules for using RouteBoss

• Use it only for your pool service business and only in lawful ways.
• Do not try to see another company's data or get around our security.
• Do not copy, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. We will tell you why unless the law stops us.

8. Our property

The RouteBoss name, logo, app and website belong to Blu Hat Funding LLC. These Terms let you use the Service while your account is open. They do not give you any other rights to it. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

9. No guarantees

We work hard to keep RouteBoss running and correct, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise it will always be up, free of errors, or that every email will be delivered. Phone signal, email providers and map data are outside our control.

10. Limit on our liability

As far as the law allows, RouteBoss is not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost customers, missed visits or miscommunication. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and email owners before a big change takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms.

12. California law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
